Chance Parker
Chance Parker has conducted educational, private and public tours all over the country in such historic destinations as San Antonio, Key West and Miami.
In his over 5 years in St. Augustine, he has written and conducted tours for a variety of established operators in virtually every genre. His degree in English Composition from Florida Atlantic University has served him well in informing the nation of its historical treasures in a fun, approachable way.
And his years of restaurant experience, culminating with the title of Certified Sommelier, also make him an expert at relating to and entertaining guests.
Sergey Volkov
Originally from Moscow, Russia, Sergey immigrated to the US in 2016, and has traveled to over two dozen countries. He has a Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management and comes from the world of fine dining. He has been in the employ of Michelin starred chef Joel Robuchon in both Miami and New York City, and in that of St. Augustine’s acclaimed Peruvian concept, Llama.
More recently he has worked in the hospitality industry locally at such high-influence houses of lodging as Carriage Way and The Collector Inn, giving him experience in booking and customer service that is second to none.
Daniel " Scooter " Anderson
Known to family and friends as “Scooter,” Daniel Anderson brings a lifetime of local history and storytelling to every tour. One of eleven children, his nickname came from childhood—and it stuck.
With family roots in St. Augustine dating back to 1813, Scooter offers a truly personal connection to the city’s past.
A lifelong resident for over 60 years, he served in the U.S. Army, including time in Vietnam and Puerto Rico, before earning degrees in History, Early Childhood Education, and a Master’s in Theology.
After 30 years as an educator, he transitioned into leading and training history tours with Old Town Trolley and the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, sharing his passion in an engaging, approachable way.
Today, Scooter brings his deep local knowledge and love for St. Augustine to First Coast Cart Tours—delivering history that’s both authentic and unforgettable.
